SOMA Breath uses rhythmical breathing, guided visualization and brain wave music to awaken you to a heightened state of relaxation and bliss! This retreat is an opportunity to take a break from your busy life and indulge in a soul-nourishing experience for you to spend quality time re-connecting with yourself. It is for those who are curious about their inner journey, and those who want some much needed 'me time.' Take some time to harmonize your body, mind and spirit and cultivate your 'inner' resilience from within.
Absolutely, our intention is to create a very safe space to enable you to meet yourself where you are without any judgment. The Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels of experience and there are no crazy bends. Promise. Just do what you can, listen to your body and have fun.
Cold water immersion can offer numerous benefits, but it’s not suitable for everyone. It’s crucial to consult a doctor & seek their permission before attempting if you have any underlying health conditions such as:
• Heart Conditions
• High Blood Pressure
• Peripheral Vascular Disease
• Hypersensitivity to Cold
• Open Wounds or Recent Skin Injuries
• Conditions Affecting Blood Flow or Temperature Regulation
Cold water exposure is safe for pregnant women. However, please ensure you consult and seek permission from the GP/Midwife.
We totally understand that the idea of getting into an ice bath can feel a little daunting. However, rest assured that this practise is an integral part of the Awakening journey. You will be fully guided to embrace this challenge in a safe and supportive environment. Our Therapists are very experienced to help you to step into your own power with courage, confidence and conviction! (Please note, if you choose on the day, you do not want to take part in this activity, that is also fine. You can enjoy some rest and relaxation in these tranquil settings instead).
A comprehensive set of joining instructions will be sent to you prior to the Retreat. For your cold water experience, you can wear normal swimwear, a T-shirt, shorts, leggings, or even a wetsuit if you wish! Hats, wet suit gloves, and shoes are also optional. Changing robes for you to use at your leisure are also provided but these are limited, so if you have your own, it might be worth bringing it along!
Yes, the venue will do their best to accommodate any specific dietary requirements. (For example, nut free, gluten free ,vegan etc) Please complete the survey that will be sent to you once you have booked so that the venue can make arrangements.
The Awakening Yoga Retreat is being held at Wootton Park Wellness Centre, Warwickshire B95 6HJ.
Please note we do not offer refunds for Retreats. If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another date (provided you give us 21 days notice).
